In the School of Business, Government, and Economics at Seattle Pacific University, we believe the highest purpose of business is to serve. Designed to advance “another way of doing business,” SPU's program is AACSB-accredited with quality instruction, small classes, and professional mentoring that underscore our emphasis on ethics derived from a distinctly Christian worldview.
Giving Priorities
Vision for Excellence Fund: In keeping with the School of Business, Government, and Economics' mission to develop leaders who advance human flourishing, the Vision for Excellence Fund was established in 2002. Gifts to this fund promote growth of programs and excellence throughout the school.
Undergraduate Student Events Fund: Established in 1989, the Undergraduate Student Events Fund supports student activities. Such activities often promote professional growth and facilitate alumni, community, and corporate engagement. This provides students with a way to connect with alumni and the surrounding community.
Graduate Student Events Fund: Aligned with our efforts to develop leaders who will engage the culture and change the world, the Graduate Student Events Fund was created to enhance the quality of student learning activities within and beyond the classroom. These events provide our students with greater opportunties to develop their professional skills.
Center for Applied Learning: Gifts to the Center for Applied Learning directly support our commitment to graduating students of competence and character, enabling students to gain valuable, real-world experience through interactions with local business executives and professionals through our Mentor, Service Learning, Internship, and Entrepreneurship programs.
Technology Investment Fund: Established to provide the School of Business, Government, and Economics students with training and access to cutting-edge technology.
